So when some nations ignore the facts , we should too?! That's a compelling argument. The regulations will ruin the economy? We face the ruin anyway when the tariffs take effect. I'll trust the science not being paid for by the fossil fuel industry.
I suggest you stick with a deep review of the science and then you will see you are being misled.. I can assist you get to a better level of understanding if you wish.
In the section of the article you supplied a link to entitled "The Future Action?" second paragraph " If this was a business decision" what else is it?! the rules and regulations will cost too much!! "We would pull all the experts into one room and listen to both sides of the argument....then make a balanced decision" Except that never happens. The "liberal left" is routinely dismissed.
There have been advances in manufacturing that have been beneficial to the environment (smokestack emissions, wastewater discharge regulations). Manufacturing left the US because of higher labor costs. i have worked in various plants for the last 47 years and many things have changed in the worker safety regulations to improve workers lives. Why can't we see more advancements to improve the life of the world? IT'S TOO EXPENSIVE!
I believe you are the one being misled. I know I am wasting my time replying to you and you won't be swayed, but I'm just trolling the troll. You must realize anyone reading Mr. Gloninger's article isn't going to be swayed either.
Well.. I really don’t care what you believe after I have tried to provide you with scientific facts.
The good news is that our future governments are now beginning to realize that NetZero is unnecessary, technologically unattainable, economically unviable and extremely foolish.
We have listened to the “liberal left” religion for far too long…
The priority will be prosperity with just some local adaption to a naturally warming planet and the increase in CO2 that is mostly good news.
Listening to what you have to say is like taking advice from your orthopedic doctor for your heart health. You don't have a background in the science, but you certainly like to play expert.
The only thing that’s disagreeable about this article is the unnecessary part about deniers. You make these people up as a bogeyman. This article is a perfect example of why your weather prediction arguments go down like a lead balloon. “I’ve studied the weather and believe that an apocalypse is approaching, if you doubt me you are a filthy denier” is what I hear when I read you. It’s great that you have your new belief system but attacking folks that don’t hold your beliefs is just asshole religious authoritarianism.
In recent decades it also seems we’ve had less snow than I recall growing up in the 1970s. I would imagine this contributes to the drought conditions we’ve experienced in central Iowa in recent years. Thank you for continuing to provide us with climate information, Chris.
Ok..So what?...the climate is changing, but its not bad news.. Plenty of facts point to that.
