Thank you Chris for your forthright and courageous writing to help educate people! Just like your excellent on-air reporting when you were in Des Moines!
Keep telling the truth Chris. Rush Limbaugh was the first climate change denier that did ireputable damage to published science and research over the radio airwaves and Trump pinned a medal on him before he passed away. Maybe research will prevail when the new million year old ice core pulled out of the Antarctic. The carbon we have put into our atmosphere since the industrial revolution is obvious in the ice core.
Thank you Chris for speaking truth to power. I am so sorry about how you were treated while in Des Moines. Iowa hasn’t always been a science-denying state. You are correct about how Trump could hold up an apple and call it an orange and way too many Iowans would believe him over their own eyes. I will never understand why people are attracted to him, but thank you for your desire to educate us.
I just mentioned to my wife tonight that our Iowa winter is almost half over. My winter calendar runs (December, January, and February). January 15th is mid-way through my Iowa winter calendar. We had less than an inch of snow and no temps below zero in my area.
I don't need to go south for the winter – its warming up here in Iowa!

Smart and clearly written. Thanks.

Thank you for this good way to explain today’s weirdness.
